We picked up the title this morning. A lil surreal to know it won’t be ours for much longer. We also revived a quote for landlords insurance, much more reasonable than I expected.
We have found a sticking point in renting our home out…..smoking! Both of us intensely dislike smoking inside (well I intensely dislike smoking full stop after my experiences of my fathers emphysema leading to his death, Damian on the other hand will still occasionally have one) but I don’t think we can stipulate no smoking inside on the lease?
But with such a big property, next to a park and pets will be allowed hopefully they may respect a request re smoking cross fingers

We knew we would still travel without it, the original concept involved selling the house but it is nice to have a bit of security behind us “in case it goes pear shaped” as everyone keeps telling us
As other family travelers have found, we are more optimistic about travel than our families and most of our friends. As with anything in life if your choices do not meet up with mainstreams expectations then people constantly throw doubt on your choices. We are quite happy to live our lives for us and only ask for respect for the paths we take in life.
Anyway negativity aside it has been an exciting day with Damian finding his perfect pair of boots Teva Raith Mid.
